I'm so pleased that you took the time to visit my nursery and see my newest little one, baby Lily. My name is Judy and I am the reborn artist of "Baby Kisses Nursery". I have been making reborn dolls for over four years now.  I take great pride in my work and strive to create the most realistic looking reborn that I can. I hope that you will enjoy my babies as much as I do and I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my nursery.
All of Lily's pictures have been taken in natural daylight usually over several days. My baby nursery is smoke and pet free. Please feel free to email me with any questions that you may have.

Reborn By Judy Image

This beautiful little baby girl was originally  designed by the reborn artist Reva Schick as a kit called Noah and has been reborn by me into this amazingly lifelike little baby girl. All of my babies here at “Baby Kisses Nursery” are created with a lot of time and love. I spent many hours on Lily's painting and I am so pleased with the way she turned out. She has multi-dimensional skin tones that are very realistic. This baby wears size 0 to 3 month and some 3 to 6 month clothing which makes shopping for her a lot of fun. She is now a beautiful hand crafted collectable heirloom doll that can be passed down for many generations and is not recommended for very young children.

Baby's Skin Image

First Lily was given a warm bubble bath to remove any factory residue from her skin and then began the long process of bringing her to life. She has very life like skin tones that were achieved by applying many translucent layers of Genesis heat set paints. These paints are permanent and won't rub off over time. I have given her a mottled complexion with blotches, tiny delicate capillaries and subtle veins. She has natural undertones of blue where a newborn's skin would naturally be thinner and all of her cute little folds and creases have been lovingly blushed. Her mouth has been painted a natural color and then sealed with a permanent gloss to give it a moist wet look.. I also applied a touch of gloss to her eye area and the inside of her nose to give them a natural moist look.

Baby's Eyes Image

Lily has sleeping eyes and wispy hand rooted eyelashes done with the same gorgeous mohair as I used for her hair. Her eyebrows have been lightly painted on one stroke at a time in a color to match her hair.

Fingers and Toes Image

All of Lily's cute little fingers and toe nails have been painted a soft baby pink, tipped in a off-white and then sealed for protection. They now have that fresh clipped baby look.

Baby's Body Image

Lily has a jointed soft fabric body made just for her. She has been weighted with glass beads,  poly pellets and soft poly fiberfill so she now has the feel and weight of a real baby when held. Her little head can be gently turned from side to side and is slightly floppy so it will need to be supported just like a real baby. She has a magnet in her head for her pacifier and care should be taken around people with pacemakers and certain electronics. If her new mommy would prefer to have them removed I would be happy to do this.

Baby's Hair Image

Lily's hair has been finely rooted with light brown soft premium angora mohair.  I use a very tiny needle and this takes several days to complete but I feel the results are well worth it. Her hair is so soft and fine and feels just like a real baby's hair. It has been rooted in a natural growth pattern and then sealed on the inside with a waterproof glue. You can now gently style it with a little water or baby spray detangler.
